It's a place with excellent service and attention. The wait time is short, and the food quality is exquisite. I recommend La Pasta al Pesto; I think it's very good.
So, after seeing crazy and exaggerated prices in Genoa, we found this place with reasonable prices and good service.
I highly recommend it.

I highly recommend this place for people who are trying pasta for the first time in Italy. I am from India and I had pesto pasta many a times in past but what I had here is truly amazing. Smiling staff and they explain you the dish if you are new to this.

It's a nice little restaurant or more like a pasta bar. You can choose between multiple pasta shapes and styles, between sauces and sizes of your portion. There are bar styled tables where you can sit and eat and even free WiFi :) The cashiers' energy seemed a little off - maybe because we didn't understand her straight away or because it was at the end of the shift.
Speaking of, you should definitely make sure to get there before 7pm. The kitchen closes earlier than the sitting area.
The pasta was handmade and freshly cooked. We tried the Salsa di Noci and the basil pesto, both with not stuffed pasta.
It was incredibly delicious, you should check it out!

The trofie with pesto are excellent. The pesto is excellent, and no, it's not guaranteed to be good just because we're in Genoa. Pansotti with walnuts are simply divine.
It's a tiny dessert, but it's superb. The girls are kind and smiling, which never hurts. The bathroom is super clean. And that's another plus.
We chose this place for a quick lunch on August 15th after visiting the aquarium. I'd say as soon as I get back to Genoa, it'll be the first place we'll go back to.

Food was good, but the lady that was selling was unpleasant.
Delicious homemade pasta at an affordable price 😊 The pesto is delicious, and the portions are quite large – the medium version is perfect for lunch.
I highly recommend it!

Un endroit unique pour se retrouver au mileu et à côté des locaux ...
Une petite "gargote" (au bon sens du terme...) où l'on choisit au comptoir ce que l'on va manger (le plat et la quantité).
Des trofies al pesto succulentes, les raviolis à la truffe excellents.
Le service est chaleureux et marrant (elles semblent bien connaître la moitié des clients).
Un prix inégalable dans le cœur historique de Gênes.
