07/06/2025: Although our stay was only for one night, the atmosphere was wonderful. What really left a lasting impression was the complimentary breakfast that was absolutely amazing and delicious. The coffee was satisfying and the omelet was mouth watering good.
07/06/2025: As a mom of four on a working trip to Rome—with my husband busy in meetings and events—I didn’t expect much time to actually relax. But the Westin Excelsior Rome surprised me in the best way possible. It offered not just a place to stay, but a peaceful, luxurious refuge in the middle of a very full schedule.
The room was incredibly spacious, which felt like a gift from the Roman gods after traveling with four kids. It was recently updated, with elegant touches and modern amenities that made it feel fresh, sophisticated, and completely comfortable. There was plenty of room to spread out, stash our things, and not trip over suitcases (or each other) constantly.
The bathroom deserves its own spotlight. Think spa-like oasis. The steam shower with double showerheads (plus water jets coming out of the sides!) was a full-body experience—exactly what I needed at the end of a long, on-your-feet kind of day. I may or may not have hidden in there longer than necessary for “me time.” No regrets.
Also worth praising: the massive closet. As a mom managing a variety of wardrobe needs (casual, business, kid chaos-ready), the extra space was a dream. Everything had a place, and nothing had to stay in the suitcase. Glorious.
The turndown service was such a thoughtful touch—quiet, discreet, and consistently done with care. Coming back to the room each evening to find things fluffed, tidied, and gently lit felt like luxury on autopilot.
Every interaction with the hotel staff was warm, welcoming, and helpful. From front desk to housekeeping, everyone went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable—never once feeling rushed or overlooked, even with four kids in tow.
Though much of our time was spent attending business events, I was genuinely impressed by the meals served in the conference spaces. The food was consistently delicious, beautifully presented, and felt like a true taste of Italian hospitality, even in a professional setting.
Final thoughts: The Westin Excelsior isn’t just about stunning architecture or five-star status—it’s about thoughtful service, generous space, and that rare feeling of being cared for when you’re juggling a lot. For this mom of four, it was a five-star exhale in the heart of Rome.
