The pastry shop is located on the Jonica state road 106 and one of the best on Villapiana Lido. Once inside you can choose from mignon pastries, to almond paste (peeled almonds, egg white and sugar), babà in a cooking jar at €15 per piece, to traditional sourdough panettone at €15 per kg. We took the babas in cooking jars and a tray of miniature pastries. Exceptional babas while the fresh pastries are good. Must try breakfast.

A super breakfast! Large assortment of fresh pastries and giant croissants, crumbly and with tasty creams... Giuseppe super courteous... congratulations to all the staff! Highly recommended!

The Valente pastry shop is one of the most important pastry shops in Villapiana. It offers a vast diversity of types of pastries and cakes. I didn't put the maximum on the quality of the food since I am a very demanding person regarding the quality of the pastry shop, but this does not mean that it is not a good pastry shop. I recommend it!

Pasticceria Valente, what can I say?!.. the exceptional desserts, the impeccable staff (courteous, precise, affable)... not to mention the professionalism and friendliness of Mr. Peppino........pasticceria Valente thank you for existing, you can't start the day without your croissant and the carefree smile of Marilea, the local mascot... Every year I go down to Villapiana, this pastry shop is a regular stop! Excellent food, excellent quality/price and very kind staff. I recommend their croissants!

29/06/2024: Cena di coppia per festeggiare il nostro anniversario. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Abbiamo preso 2 antipasti (moscardini con crostini e tartare di tonno), 2 primi (paccheri alla pescatrice e ravioli al branzino), 2 secondi (polpo con mousse di patate e bistecca di tonno), 2 sorbetti (mandarino e bergamotto), una bottiglia di vino rosso di Calabria (avevo chiesto il Cirò…). Totale 103 euro. Prezzo va benissimo per quanto mangiato. Sulla qualità non sono pienamente soddisfatta… Non ho il palato fino, ma amo molto il pesce e riconosco i piatti buonissimi da quelli discreti. Quindi qualità discreta e prezzo ottimo.

17/06/2024: Ordered 2 Crema di Café and a Pasticini here. The Crema di Café is very, very sweet and therefore you don't get the usual taste of a Crema di Café. The pasticini was totally dry, which was a bit disappointing because I really wanted the combo with the crema. The ambience is modern with a retro style. Will try again on our next visit to Zumpano and hopefully have a better experience.
