Wonderful granita! A place with atmosphere, worth traveling halfway across town for this wonderful experience. The lemon granita is wonderfully tart and fresh, and it was very cold. The pistachio granita is more like ice cream, but "good, not too sweet," and I was stuffed with it. The service is also very friendly, and the gentleman listens to your broken Italian with a smile on his face 😹 We recommend it! 🩷

Prices have increased over the years, but the quality remains the same.

Very nice place, granita 3,5€. You can mix two flavours in one. Portions are pretty big. Very nice staff.

Spurred by the reviews, I decided to try this bar. It's truly a gem for lovers of Sicilian granita, and beyond. Their granita is incredibly creamy, both in texture and flavor. I tried one of their latest specialties, the ricotta granita with cannoli flakes, a true delight. The staff was very kind and helpful. I'll definitely return and try other flavors.

We're a couple from Milan who visited Catania during the feast of Saint Agatha. We stopped for breakfast at Bar Trento, and since then it's become our go-to place for breakfast, featuring traditional delicacies (slush in various flavors, all excellent, with brioche con tuppo, ravioli with ricotta and spring onion), and of course, aperitifs. We were welcomed by the friendly and kind staff, especially Marco, who guided us through the gastronomic experience of Catania's specialties. Thanks to them, our vacation was one to remember. Aperitivo with above-average appetizers and spectacular arancini, well-seasoned and not dry. And the courtesy is a must. They advised me against buying arancini in the evening for my trip the next day and encouraged me to reserve them for early in the morning, and so I did. By 8:00 a.m., they were ready, made especially for me. Thanks again!
