We were in Lucca one day and before leaving I wanted to taste the typical dessert, the famous Buccellato. We went in for a coffee and a taste of Buccellato which we immediately gave up on as the girl in the restaurant told us we could only have 3 slices. We had just eaten and we didn't know if we would like it, but a very kind lady who was buying one offered to let me try a slice of her Buccellato, I thank her infinitely because it is truly delicious! He was right. Moral of the story we brought 1 buccellato and 2 pieces of panforte to Sardinia. Thanks also to the girl at the counter who was very kind and patient. The panforte is also very good. I hope I can repay the lady by offering her coffee or maybe the pastry shop could do it for me. Thank you
