Pasticceria Spinella In Catania

A welcoming and well-kept place, even if the color of the external awnings, as elegant as they are, attracts a lot of heat. I ate the best arancini of my life in this place: I recommend the one alla norma. Good granitas, but not excellent. Tasty cannoli, rich in ricotta, but not prepared on the spot as tradition would have it.

Prestigious location in the center with a view of the botanical garden. We consumed arancini and desserts including cannoli and cassatine. The quality of the products is high and the SPRITZ consumed were well made. The sore point is the evasive and hasty service and the very elegant lady at the cash register who gives the impression of being suffering from having to deal with the public. The gentlemen behind the counter, however, served us a very good coffee and with their courtesy they sweetened our experience there.

The food and coffee were delicious, but the staff were irritated and even unfriendly. Unfortunately, this applied to all three employees we interacted with. It seems to be a general problem here.

Excellent aperitif, very competent and kind staff, we had two Spritz and they brought us lots of really good typical things, then we ordered an arancino that was really full of ragù and an excellent baked pasta, we highly recommend this place, one of the best in Catania.

we visited this pasticceria multiple times during our stay in catania. Everything they have is very delicious and fresh and probably the best cannoli in catania. We would definitely come back!

Caffè pasticceria storico e gettonatissimo in città. Da turista che lo visito per la prima volta ho l’impressione che col tempo e soprattutto a causa della folla che lo frequenta il livello di servizio e qualità si sia un po‘ abbassato rispetto a un tempo e soprattutto a quanto viene decantato. Sicuramente però la posizione è strategica, la gamma di prodotti e l’orario ampio sono una sicurezza, e quindi resta solidamente un punto di riferimento nella movida cittadina. Io provo una cassatina con ricotta, un cannolo sempre con ricotta, un cappuccino e una caffè americano: qualità discreta ma non eccelsa, ne ho mangiati e bevuti di migliori. Il servizio è però cortese e non ho notato in conto addebiti specifici per il coperto. In ogni caso sedersi e consumare in uno dei tanti tavolini lungo la via Etnea e godersi il passeggio e il vivace caos cittadino è un piacere.

Nel pomeriggio del Primo dell'anno, con Catania affollatissima di turisti e locali, la pasticceria era stracolma sia esternamente che internamente, ma dopo, esserci messi in lista per un tavolo, un Cameriere gentilissimo e professionale ci ha trovato un tavolo in pochi minuti. Pasticceria e salati al top, bevande ottime.
