I thank the La Spezia pastry shop for saving my son's 18th birthday party last night in extremis, with a delicious cake! The venue for the event had not produced the cake due to a misunderstanding. After an initial panic at 6.22 pm I desperately called the La Spezia pastry shop for help: a delicious cake for 30 people ready in half an hour :-) thank you very much!

Every time it is a pleasure to return, not only for the welcome, but above all for the excellent quality of their desserts and cakes: fresh, refined and really delicious. A true gem in the heart of Milan, where confectionery tradition meets quality at a surprisingly honest price. The place is large, bright and always lively: many people behind the counter ready to serve with courtesy, and just as many in front, testifying to the deserved success of this pastry shop. A special mention goes to the dedicated parking: a precious detail for those who, like me, appreciate knowing exactly where to leave the car when it comes to restaurants. And although there are pastry shops even closer to home, I willingly cross the city to come here. Among the delights not to be missed, Sicilian cannoli: crunchy, fresh, full of flavour. A true journey into the flavors of the island.

What can I say top, top, top spectacular place both for the view and the taste. recommended by a friend and chosen for my daughter's 18th.. Cake choice: cheese cake I would say exceptional!! Congratulations to the chef Mr. Paolo for his skill and kindness. and all the girls at the counter are kind, smiling and professional. I can't wait to try their chantilly for my birthday!

05/08/2025: A local gem, with excellent desserts and an equally good selection of bars. I wasn't able to try it for lunch because it's closed on weekends. Overall, it's a great place to visit if you're not in a hurry, enjoying a good coffee and a slice of cake.

Trattoria A Casa Nostra

25/07/2025: Found this spot after looking for a place to eat dinner early with the family. Owner greeted us and seated us promptly. Simple menu. Standard prices. Cover charge of €2 per person and €2 for still water. We tried the ricotta with honey and toasted hazelnuts (€7) and the puff pastry with potatoes (€8). Both were good but nothing that was outstanding. For entrees, my wife had the cod (€17) while our youngest son had the gnocchi (€16). Our oldest son and I both had the cacio e pepe cutlet (€22) which was good but would’ve been nice to have been served with some pasta or accompanying item. All-in with charges was €109 for dinner. While a comfortable restaurant with nice staff, it was nothing that swept us off our feet.
07/07/2025: A welcoming, authentic place, far from the tourist hustle and bustle. I celebrated my birthday here and I couldn't have chosen a better place. The menu is handwritten, just like it used to be, and the cuisine is also “old fashioned” — and you can taste it! Delicious dishes, real flavors, that warm the heart. The service was simply wonderful. Daniela welcomed us with a smile and rare kindness, and at the end they even sang “Tanti Auguri” to me and brought a candle to celebrate. A simple but unforgettable gesture. I will never forget this birthday in Italy, thanks to the magic of Trattoria Casa Nostra.
