One of the best traditional Neapolitan pastieras in the capital! Queue to enter close to Easter (maybe some numbers would help) the place is small but it's worth it. Apart from the excellent flavour, technical details such as the perfectly cooked pastry of the right thickness, the dark color on the surface with the 7 stripes of dough, the quality and quantity of the candied fruit and above all the abundant wheat cooked to perfection so as to make it feel the texture with every bite. Well done!

I had a desire, to eat pastiera like in Naples. Savarese, it was the precious indication of an acquaintance of mine who I thank. Today, Easter day, the wish was granted!
The pastiera is excellent, a hit with the relatives. Its "humidity" is highly appreciated. See you soon. Thanks!

There are some good traditional Neapolitan desserts. Here you are always welcomed with kindness and familiarity also because it is a historic shop and, for those who are from the area, it is like visiting old friends.

near the Colli Albani metro station, the Savarese Neapolitan pastry shop (historic shop) is an authentic gastronomic gem that adds a touch of Naples to the lively atmosphere of Rome.
Every visit to this delicious pastry shop is a sensorial journey that transports customers directly to the alleys of the Neapolitan city.
The Savarese pastry shop is much more than a simple pastry shop; it is an icon of gastronomic history, a place where artisanal delicacies and recipes passed down from generation to generation are celebrated and preserved with passion and skill.
Among its specialties, the baked San Giuseppe zeppole represent an authentic delight for the palate. With their perfect browning and soft texture, each bite reveals an explosion of flavour, thanks to the impeccably prepared custard that envelops the heart of each zeppola.
The feeling of indulging in one of these delicacies is an experience that goes beyond simple tasting; it is a warm embrace of Italian culture and culinary tradition.
I highly recommend giving yourself the pleasure of tasting the delights of the Savarese pastry shop to all those who wish to enjoy an authentic and memorable gastronomic experience.

On Google it says open, the sign in front of the place says "weekly rest on Tuesday"... I come here and find it closed. Good job, everyone!

What to say about this wonderful pastry shop ❓❔ the best puff pastries, the best pastiere, the best babà, a rich, tasty and varied choice of pastries and pastries, in addition to the kindness and exquisitely Campanian friendliness of the owners.
For me a place of the heart, the greedy part of the heart 😋😋😋😋😋🥧🍩🍰🧁🥮

I got some cream filled cream puffs that were as good as any. Both the fried food and the cream inside are not at all heavy. The place retains its slightly retro feel but that's nice too. The owners are welcoming and with a smile
