I've known this pastry shop all my life. I know my grandmother's hometown, where she often came to visit on Sundays as a boy. I've always had clear memories of the sfogliatella that Santaniello used to make. Over the years, I've continued to come here occasionally, even after her passing, when the business was carried on by her children and now by her granddaughters. "The flavors of each dessert are balanced, and the ingredients are incredibly fresh. The sfogliatella is always a strong point, although I must admit it's a little less abundant than in the past. One of the best I've ever eaten, along with the one at Attanasio in Naples. The coffee scoux is an explosion of flavor with a cream made from real espresso coffee with ground coffee, like so many do. "The staff is attentive without being intrusive. "They're knowledgeable about the desserts and ingredients, and you're always made to feel welcome." "You're always made to feel welcome." The service is impeccable. The restaurant has remained as classic as it once was, well-maintained. Obviously, I'm biased every time I go in, thinking it's like stepping back in time and becoming a child again. I often hear this place accused of being expensive. The prices are reasonable, the quality is excellent. They still faithfully use grandfather's recipes, and the ingredients are carefully selected without any artificial additions. It's definitely worth every penny! If I really have to make a small criticism, for example, that the size of the sfogliatella is smaller than before, it's also true that wanting to maintain excellent quality without dramatically increasing prices in a country like this where these things aren't appreciated by everyone can't be easy. "The prices are still affordable, the problem is that in a world that's now low-cost, people expect to get the highest quality by paying a euro or so. In all areas, when I go, I always feel like I've gotten more than my money's worth." One piece of advice I'd like to give the pastry shop is to equip themselves, even with packaged items, for celiacs. I recommended their sfogliatella to some friends in Naples one Sunday. They came all the way there to try it. Unfortunately, their daughter is celiac, and they didn't bother asking if there was anything without it, and honestly, I didn't know when I recommended it. Unfortunately, the daughter wasn't able to eat anything... For the rest, I can only recommend this one. place and invite the owners to maintain the quality and tradition that they have and always have had. Congratulations

18/08/2025: Di Gennaro = Sessa My husband, my children, and I went for lunch today, August 18th, along with cousins from Pozzuoli. It was a table of 15. The food was excellent, the price was extraordinary, and the staff was friendly. We will definitely be back.

17/11/2025: Friendly staff who are busy but helpless with the amount of work. I recommend booking. The menu is almost set with two options, priced from €30/€33 (drinks not included). It's hard to understand the portion sizes, for example, the skewer and fries in the salad for four people. I have to ask ANTONINO CANNAVACCIUOLO if it's possible. The quality of the food is fresh but average. For example, the meat skewer is unclear what animal it is, apart from the sausage. The appetizer consists of slices of fresh ham, small mozzarella (less than 100g), a small square of polenta, a bruschetta (mine included a slice of salami). The first courses are fresh homemade pasta, served a bit overcooked for my taste (various flavors of pasta, porcini mushrooms, truffle, and sauce). Four adults, one celiac, and one seven-year-old girl (children's menu). For a total of €198.50. After 30 minutes or more, dessert hasn't arrived at the table. Suitable for a day trip.
17/10/2025: The dining room is a bit old-fashioned, but that's precisely what gives it a special touch. The food was good, the service was average. All in all, it was a good experience.
