It deserves for the best hot chocolate in Milan. There are other things to review: tortello with zabaglione cannot be served cold at the table! Expensive, but it fits. The room should be refreshed.

Tonight I bought a giant tortelli. I was thinking of enjoying last year's tortelli. The new format had little custard inside. Not being able to 'bite' it in its entirety, I had to cut it into two pieces and spread the cream inside with a teaspoon. Couldn't we go back to the old version? Thank you

I don't think it's a problem if you sit down thinking it's the same as eating sweets at a luxury hotel lounge or a famous patisserie. However, all orders were made verbally and no menus or prices were presented, which I felt was unfair. All of the sweets provided were delicious and fine, but during our walk we were charged 65 euros for a family of four including cake, coffee, and a few chocolates. I sat down and ordered without realizing that I would be paying such an amount, so I had a bad aftertaste.

01/04/2025: If you want to test vintage Italian pastries and breakfast, you have to visit San Carlo Al Corso Cafe. It has been our coffee and delicious pastries treat every afternoon. The cafe provides great atmosphere, services, and most importantly espresso and assorted pastries and desserts. Let’s first start with working staff. They are very friendly and many times getting out of their way to provide utmost service. The owner/manager was very alert to get feedback from all customers. She is just doing great job. Also, Dunia- the waitress- was very friendly and welcoming and she helped us to select parties and dessert everyday. All in all, if you visit Milano and you need to test the real Italian coffee, pastries and breakfast, you have to put this cafe in your top list. You can come at early morning or afternoon for your day treat. At last, don’t forget while you have your coffee and pastries to enjoy the outdoor nearby music and singing. Arrivederci!
