Pastry bar rightly famous for the Maritozzi among the best in Rome. There are both small and large ones and I assure you that the big ones are really big. They cost €4.50 but it's not that much considering the prices of other bars and the size. On weekends you have to queue for a while and sometimes you have to wait about ten minutes if you're unlucky and the lunches have just finished. However, if you are in the area and want to eat an excellent Maritozzo, it is worth the wait.

The photos I attach speak for themselves. We usually get the cake with wild strawberries, the Maritozzi and the cream cannoli but no less so are all the delicacies that Regoli has been producing for years. Not passing through Regoli is like coming to Rome and not seeing the Colosseum

The N1 husband of Rome! Delicious cream, full-bodied and not heavy! Truly better than some famous and famous pastry shops on TV! Unfortunately the bar is narrow and long, but the quality is really worth it!

The husbandzzi and some of the desserts do not deserve the fame and the price requested.
The Maritozzo cream is insipid and the citrus aroma of the bread is too strong.
The truffles are too soft and have an excessively alcoholic taste
The place is really too small for the number of people present.

Mr. Regoli is famous for Maritozzo. Large one costs 4 euros, small one costs 3 euros. I ordered a small portion because I had just eaten breakfast, but the cream was light and easy to eat.
I didn't know this until I went there, but there are two restaurants side by side, and the bar on the right is cash only and recommended for those who want a quick bite to eat at the counter. If you want to use a credit card, go to the pasticceria on the left.

Two adjacent but separate rooms, one a pastry shop and the other a bar. I had the opportunity to take large Maritozzi with cream on the pastry side which I however found expensive (€4) in relation to the preparation. I found the husbandzzo excessively soft even though I ate it 5 minutes after purchasing it.

It's a shame I couldn't give 5 stars because the blonde lady in the cafeteria section was very grumpy, especially with the employees; especially for a pastry shop like this it is not allowed. The guys were very kind and the desserts were very good.
