We first bought ice cream as we were passing by. It was good, and we decided to have breakfast there the next morning. I can't say the prices are too high; everything was just better in the old days. It's not cheap, but the quality is reasonable. This pastry shop is a fifth-generation family business. I chatted with the young owner. Thanks for the postcard, by the way.

Passare da Canzo e non passare dalla pasticceria Ponti è oltraggioso, la pasticceria offre brioche,torte e pasticcini deliziosi,nocciolini, marmellate,bevande fi ogni genere come la buonissima cioccolata calda... con questa seconda recensione integro le foto mancanti nella prima e posso assicurare che non esiste foto in grado di rendere l'idea della bontà che alberga in questo luogo....ho preso un kaffekranz delizioso accompagnato da un caffè e una giornata di pioggia è diventata luminosa.

Ristorante La Contrada

11/07/2025: This is a historic restaurant in Domaso that has had several different owners for varying lengths of time, but all have maintained the unique character of the osteria. Access is gained by descending two steps into two rooms with exposed stonework and vaulted ceilings. An internal staircase leads to the first floor, where the rooms are modernly furnished. The menu offers classic lakeside specialties and well-prepared seafood. The wine list is decent, and prices are reasonable. It's popular with tourists seeking this historic atmosphere, and they don't mind the lack of lake views. July 2025: closed until a new owner is found.
03/07/2025: Our second visit to this restaurant, and this time we weren't disappointed—quite the opposite! The food and service were excellent, and the interior was cozy. A very nice and warm atmosphere. This year, the older chef came by again and asked us if we were enjoying our meal and if everything was okay. And it was! As we left, we made sure to thank him personally once again! We'll definitely be back. Thank you very much!
