23/06/2025: An unexpected and delicious discovery
My son and I discovered the Keyfood restaurant almost by chance, and it turned out to be a truly pleasant surprise. We were welcomed by Mauro, the owner's father, a friendly, cordial and authentic person who immediately put us at ease, helping to create a familiar and relaxed atmosphere.
The attention to quality was immediately evident, evident not only in the flavors, but also in the care with which the raw materials are selected — a characteristic that we later found confirmed also on their website, where they talk about healthy, tasty cuisine based on excellent ingredients. And our experience fully confirmed this.
We started with a zucchini parmigiana served in a parmesan wafer on carasau bread: a surprising appetizer, perfectly balanced between crunchiness and creaminess. Next, the dish of the day: a slice of salmon placed on a velvety cream of yellow datterino tomatoes, accompanied by a fresh fennel and orange salad. A refined, light and tasty dish, capable of enhancing every single ingredient to the maximum.
We concluded with a shortcrust pastry tart with cream and berries, truly delicious, served with two glasses of cold passito that made the ending even more pleasant.
A special applause to chef Stefano, who manages to transform the simplicity of the ingredients into carefully prepared, original and tasty dishes. In short: a cuisine that combines passion, technique and quality raw materials, all in a welcoming and authentic environment. We will definitely be back
