It's been a while since I've been to Ninin. The atmosphere is always delightful, as are the girls serving. Unfortunately, I think it's lost a lot of its quality. I had a pistachio croissant and a zabaglione one, both of which were tasty, but putting about a teaspoon of filling on a croissant that's about a foot tall for €3 is definitely excessive. The dough isn't crispy on the outside either. I'm sorry.

We went to this pastry shop for breakfast, finding it somewhat by chance. Even though the place was already packed, they still managed to accommodate us, and what can I say, the products were delicious! Compliments to both the pastry shop and the coffee shop... An excellent and very special summer cappuccino!

Excellent food quality, very friendly staff, and a wide selection! We really appreciate the attention they give to the little ones, from the welcome to the bathrooms, where there is a toilet and sink just for them! We'll see you soon.

31/08/2025: It had been on our list for a while, recommended by a friend. And today for lunch, we reserved a table. Beautiful, welcoming atmosphere, lunch in the garden under the pergola. Excellent welcome, and a menu with many local options, such as freshwater fish. We had a truly delicious lunch; the team has a light hand in the kitchen. The ladies in the dining room were professional, and the owner, knowing it was our anniversary, surprised us with a dessert. Another place to return to. Congratulations. PS. They accept dogs.
14/08/2025: A restaurant surrounded by greenery with convenient parking and outdoor seating. You can eat inside or out. The dishes are excellent and unique, with an excellent selection of wines. The prices aren't cheap, but they're worth it. Excellent service. The owners are attentive and hospitable. You can search the menu online.

13/07/2025: We went for a lunch in this nice place in Acqui Terme. Impeccable service, very friendly. Superb food and the wine that was suggested went very well with all the courses. Wonderful experience and when we will be back in the Piemonte, we will most certainly visit this place again.
12/07/2025: We had the pleasure of dining at Il Moncalvo Restaurant, located in the charming loggia of a historic 16th-century building in Acqui Terme. The location is simply enchanting: an elegant and timeless atmosphere that offers an immersive experience, perfectly balanced between history and refinement. We ordered two appetizers and two fish main courses: each dish was a pleasant discovery. The presentation was meticulous, almost artistic, and the flavor combinations were original and unexpected, a sign of careful, creative cuisine that respects the ingredients. The service made the evening even more enjoyable: the manager was friendly and helpful. Special praise also goes to the waitress, who was charming, affable, and attentive, always attentive but never intrusive. In short, Il Moncalvo proved to be a delightful discovery: a restaurant that combines quality cuisine, welcoming service, and a unique architectural setting. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a high-end dining experience in Acqui Terme. It feels like we're overlooking the fact that our big dog Byron was also chocolate and very welcome. --
