It's a shame about the lack of welcome from one lady, I think the older one, who looked more like she was in a closed-circuit factory while steel was melting. Not even a greeting managed to break her heart. I'm being sarcastic because there's obviously that human side of accumulated tiredness that can have an impact, but a bar or a café/pastry shop is a kingdom of "good humor." Maybe that's not her "profession"!? High-quality leavened pastries certainly make up for it, even if she doesn't live nearby. The tall young waitress at the counter was very courteous and... listen up... she was smiling.

Excellent pastry shop with cafeteria, the products are fresh and quality, the inside is very nice and the outside is perfect for summer and ice cream. 5 stars, I will definitely come back

We were here this morning June 6th. The tall girl is really kind and helpful. In addition to the super courtesy, even the hoods she prepared were excellent! We will definitely be back!😊

We came for a simple breakfast and were pleasantly surprised by the pastry selection. The care and attention to detail in the products offered is exceptional. As for the service, it was certainly courteous but also a bit awkward: orders were taken verbally when asking for information about the items on display, and orders were often over-ordered (I'll take this one away, but this one...no that one). The atmosphere was clean and tidy, in keeping with the standards of pastry shops and cafes found in the medium-to-high end segment.

10/08/2025: I've frequented this restaurant several times, just steps from my house. Frankly and honestly, I've had a wonderful time. The welcome was warm, friendly, and welcoming, and the food was excellent overall, from fish to meat. The first courses, second courses, side dishes, wines, and beers were truly delicious. What has always struck me are the home-made dishes and how they're crafted and prepared. The tranquility they offer is priceless. This evening I had an exquisite cheese pizza and a delicious dessert. A beautiful woman with a wonderful smile served me. I highly recommend it. Thank you, Ristorante Pizzeria Taverna Covo dell'Artista. You are artists in the kitchen. Congratulations.
29/07/2025: I went for lunch, the business menu costing €13. The first course was okay, the second course a little lackluster. The gentleman and lady serving us, in my opinion, lacked a bit of enthusiasm and a smile. Otherwise, not bad.
