Tables often need clearing, table service is nonexistent (you order and then hear the shout of "coffee" and go get it), empty croissants are completely anonymous, and the coffee saucer is always dirty. The only positives: the cappuccino—really good, the ingredients blended just right, without one dominating over the other—and the guy at the counter, always nice and kind. Catering is an art, not just a profession, where passion, whether it's there or not, shows.
