Excellence in pastry and chocolate. We've been purchasing their countless products for many years. Birthday cakes of all kinds, mousses, semifreddos, spumoni, assorted mini pastries, pasticciotti and croissants with various fillings, krapfen, multigrain brioche, and chocolates. And there's no shortage of savory treats, such as rustici leccesi, fried panzerotti, baked calzones, and appetizers and aperitifs. What more can we say? A place of temptation... Friendly staff and high-quality products.

I chose Pasticceria Capilungo for my graduation cake, and I couldn't have made a better choice.
The cake was simply stunning, crafted like a true work of art, with attention to every detail. Beyond its impeccable aesthetics, the quality was also top-notch: delicious, delicate, and appreciated by all the guests.
The staff was kind, friendly, and very helpful throughout the entire planning process.
Highly recommended for those looking for quality, professionalism, and a special touch for important occasions.

Pasticceria Luca Capilungo is one of Lecce’s most well-known pastry shops, often considered a true institution of Salento’s dessert culture. With over two decades of experience, this elegant pasticceria blends traditional recipes with modern techniques, offering a wide range of artisanal sweets, cakes, and gelato prepared daily using high-quality ingredients.
The highlight here is undoubtedly the famous pasticciotto leccese, served warm with rich, creamy filling—an essential taste of the region. Alongside it, you’ll find an impressive selection of mignon pastries, pralines, biscuits, and beautifully crafted cakes, making it a perfect stop for both a quick coffee break or special occasions.
The café also offers a relaxed atmosphere with indoor seating and a pleasant outdoor area, ideal for enjoying breakfast or an aperitivo. From fresh cornetti in the morning to savory rustici and artisanal gelato, the menu caters to every craving throughout the day.
While many visitors praise the quality and variety of products, some reviews note occasional inconsistencies in service or order management.
Overall, it remains a must-visit spot in Lecce for anyone looking to experience authentic Apulian pastry craftsmanship.

I bought eight zeppole from this renowned pastry shop for the modest sum of €24. I'd ordered them, but they were already sealed and wrapped. When we opened them, we noticed they were completely flat, especially the baked ones. The cream was good, but too lemony for my taste. Imagine the owners' disappointment.

Fantastic products. The flavors are similar to those of the famous Sicilian pastries. It's remarkable that they don't overdo the sugar. The prices are medium-high, but they're worth a try.

Excellent pastry shop, but the savory products could be improved, as they are currently too 'usual' and there is little choice.

Pastry like few others! A paradise for the palate and the eyes! The flavors are impossible to describe; tasting them is the only way to understand the quality of Capilungo!

Delicious desserts. Perhaps a little more flair could be added to the coffee shop.
