I've been to Nautilus Garden and I have to say it was a truly wonderful experience. The place is well-kept, with a very pleasant garden that creates a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for both a quiet dinner and a more special evening. The winter fireplace is fantastic. The food was excellent; you can taste the quality of the ingredients, and the dishes are well-made, without being too "complicated." The portions were just right and the flavors were truly satisfying, especially the fish. I also liked the service: the staff was kind, helpful, and never intrusive. You can tell they care about their customers. Overall, it's one of those places you'll want to return to, whether to eat well or just relax. Recommended 👍

I had the pleasure of dining at the Nautilus Restaurant last night, and I must say it was a positive experience. There were three of us, and as soon as I walked in, I was struck by the warm and welcoming atmosphere of a fireplace in the center of the room. I ordered fish both as a starter and as a main course, and I must say it was delicious. The service was impeccable, with attentive and helpful staff. P.S.: Among the various desserts, I decided to try the Neapolitan pastiera. What can I say... A delight! If you find yourself in Lecce, stop by the Nautilus Restaurant. Highly recommended.

Terrible experience. Excellent food. The wait staff was appropriate. The kitchen manager was truly rude and inappropriate. We pointed out an anomaly in the dish (an ingredient wasn't on the menu) and she literally rudely invited us to go eat "baked pasta" elsewhere. (Why baked pasta, we didn't understand 🤔). All this despite the fact that none of the diners were lacking in politeness or courtesy. I remembered this restaurant as one of the best in town, what a shame...

Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant wasn't very positive. We ordered a first course, the wrong calamarata, but when I started eating, I realized it was full of capers, which I absolutely don't eat and which weren't listed on the menu. Every ingredient in a dish must be listed on the menu. However, the restaurant is very elegant and welcoming.

We went for dinner to celebrate a birthday, and the food was excellent. There was a good variety of fish, pasta, and wines. The service was formal but very good, and the atmosphere was lovely. The prices were reasonable for the quality of the food and service.

A truly enjoyable lunch. The appetizers were thoughtful and well-balanced, featuring quality ingredients and elegant, yet unobtrusive presentation. The first courses were very good: perfectly cooked pasta. The dessert was simple and perfect, a perfect finish without weighing you down. The service was kind and attentive, and the atmosphere was quiet and welcoming. A place we'd happily return to.

12/04/2026: In the heart of Nardò's historic center lies this delightful little traditional Salento restaurant, which has become a firm favourite with me. This is my third visit, and each time it lives up to my expectations... or rather, exceeds them! The location is simply perfect, with meticulous attention to detail and an authentic atmosphere that immediately immerses you in tradition. The food is exceptional: traditional dishes prepared with seasonal ingredients, authentic flavors that express Salento in every course. The service is always attentive and friendly, helping to make the experience even more enjoyable. Everything here is perfect: from the welcome to the quality of the dishes, to the ambience. I will definitely return again and recommend it to everyone.
16/02/2026: We chose this trattoria to spend Valentine's Day with a group of friends, and I must say it's a beautiful and delicious trattoria in the center of town. It's tastefully decorated, the service excellent, and the menu is very inviting, offering a wide variety of unique dishes from our Salento cuisine, revisited and beautifully presented. Above all, we tried the various appetizers, from the excellent cheese platter to the vegetables and typical dishes cooked according to Salento culinary traditions, including delicious "pittule Salentine," homemade potato croquettes, special fried meatballs, and delicious first and second courses—all of which allowed us to sample a variety of delicacies. I must say that all the dishes we chose were of excellent quality, both in terms of the use of high-quality and fresh ingredients, the excellent selection of wines, and finally, a delicious dessert. A key aspect of this trattoria is that the kitchen is on the first floor, thus separate from the lunch and dinner area. This ensures that the downstairs dining room, where service takes place, is clean and free of kitchen odors. Therefore, you can leave after lunch or dinner without getting your clothes smelly. This is a key aspect of this place. I highly recommend it.
