25/09/2024: Food tastes good BUT there is a lot of room for improvement when it comes to timing. Food does not come to the table at the same time. When it came to takeaway we waited 1 hour for 2 pizzas!!! And nothing came except an apology! If the restaurant wasn't right at the resort where we stayed, I wouldn't eat here twice!
04/09/2024: We were attracted to this restaurant by the advertising in the middle of the town of San Vincenzo and I must say that beyond the environment, the very simple and well-kept location, the staff, as a staff I'm talking about the boy who takes orders, he didn't seem very good to me. friendly and helpful, in fact, he was often obnoxious, listless and not attentive to our requests, in fact, consequently the entire drinking order was wrong. Never a smile, never a kindness. Perhaps or almost probably he chose the job that wasn't right for him.
While I would like to shoot an arrow in favor of Matia (I think that's how it is pronounced) who has always been kind, attentive to requests, polite and never grumpy or unpleasant.
A point in favor of the girl who nevertheless put her effort into plugging the holes left by the order boy.
Let's get to the pizza:
Very good dough, it was as I expected, perhaps slightly under salted but those are tastes.
Cooked in a wood oven, some parts of the pizza below were slightly over cooked, burnt, while the other pizzas were cooked well. I'm not arguing about this because I liked it that way, another customer would probably have sent it back.
The starters were interesting, some things were made by them others were frozen. Frozen but not mentioned on the menu.
Good and crunchy fried seafood, cuppo di terra which was also good, the palatine less so... the Neapolitan omelettes were not the ones that the Neapolitan tradition has accustomed us to eating, in this case they were mini omelettes.
The wine taken, ancestral method, unfortunately was not to our liking.
A few more cellars wouldn't hurt.
