17/09/2024: Located in the picturesque Via XX Settembre, decorated with enchanting red heart-shaped lights, In Vino Veritas is a small and welcoming place that offers an intimate atmosphere and the possibility of enjoying good wine both inside and outside. The open wine shop is a gem, with a selection of regional labels from almost all Italian regions. It is possible to purchase bottles to consume on site or to take away, at a reduced price. We chose a glass of Montepulciano "Ilico" from the Illuminati winery, really pleasant, accompanied by their platter of mixed Bacchus and 10 kebabs. The platter was well assorted, with Norcia salami, coppa, ham, a mortadella-type salami, dried tomatoes and cheese, served with a delicious onion mustard. With the cutting board we were served a small bowl of beans with olives and tuna. The hot pancakes with olives were excellent. The kebabs, although not artisanal and a little small, were tasty. The only small note: I would have preferred some homemade bread with the cured meats. The service was impeccable and the environment welcoming. Between us we spent €44.
