Trieste's historic pastry shop with plenty of outdoor seating and a small one inside. Excellent service, and the waitresses were very kind! Prices were also reasonable. The desserts were delicious, and the coffee was always served with a small glass of hot chocolate.

I can only recommend the patisserie. Try to get a place inside to get feeling about the place. It's a bit like a well functioning beehive. The sweets and hot chocolate were amazing and the prices very reasonable.

The pastry shop is beautiful, and all the desserts are fantastic. The Sacher Torte was excellent, the croissants perfect. The service wasn't excellent, but there were a lot of people, and the waitresses weren't very organized, arguing among themselves. The situation was a bit confusing: the cashier became a waiter and a counter assistant. The prices on the menu displayed outside didn't match the actual prices, sometimes even doubled.

We just bought some pastries on a day trip and took them with us. The pastries were fantastic and tasted very good. I didn't want to sit outside; it would have been too hectic and "too much" for me. You can't sit inside.

We hadden te horen gekregen dat we hier ECHT even naartoe moesten gaan. En dat was een hele goede tip! Wat een mooie winkel, je waant je in het verleden. De tijd heeft hier stil gestaan. De koffie en gebakjes zijn ook nog eens heerlijk en het personeel is super vriendelijk. Ik wil met name "Maja" even noemen want zij heeft ons super geholpen en is ook nog eens erg grappig!!!! Ga hier zeker een bezoekje brengen en vraag naar Maja.

Deliziosa pasticceria di altri tempi …. ti sazi assaggiando i vari tipi di dolci , ma anche guardando le vetrinette di esposizione , le confezioni regalo, i vari tipi di scatole per l’asporto , l’arredo barocco in legno del negozio.

Caffè San Marco

14/12/2025: A venerable old coffee house, where you can still feel the charm of the bygone Austro-Hungarian era. The service staff is friendly and competent. If you're looking for a "stylish" establishment, this isn't the place for you. The adjoining bookstore is also worth seeing and reading. The lunch menu is also worth mentioning: typical Triestine dishes prepared and served with care.

06/12/2025: My favorite place to have lunch with colleagues. Great food and prices, a relaxing atmosphere, and friendly service. Go ahead, guys, you're a force to be reckoned with!!!!
24/11/2025: It's one of my favorite bars; I often stop by for an aperitif. I like the place and the staff is very friendly. The only complaint I have is that I'm fed up, and so are other customers, with always having the same old focaccia and pizza to accompany our aperitifs!
