Always a pleasure to stop, whether you are a tourist or a true Triestine, at a table where the brioches and coffee have the flavour of a time that here in Trieste will never fade because the brand, the bora and the dialect make the difference. Always slow service. The crowd. You wait and wait for the order. It's not okay.

Historic place in the center, with several outdoor tables. Inside there is a showcase of desserts for all tastes, with a wow appearance and an equally exceptional taste. Not suitable for an aperitif, highly recommended for breakfast and snacks. Super friendly service.

We stopped to taste the typical desserts of Trieste during a short holiday. The desserts are excellent, the prices are more than honest and the staff is very helpful and kind. A small misadventure also happened to us. We were sitting at the tables outside the restaurant, and while we were tasting our desserts and sipping the typical coffee accompanied by a glass of chocolate, a very large seagull pounced on one of the two desserts which was still practically untouched, and stopped two meters from us on the ground, where it literally swallowed the spoils! I won't tell you how scared I am. However, the lady who served us immediately cleaned the table and brought back the stolen goods, and did not demand any addition to the bill. We are very grateful for the gesture. Thanks again!!

Sebbene la giornata sia freddina la colazione del dehor è esperienza da fare. L’attesa val la pena. Il caffè ed il cappuccino sono ottimi, la frittola al cioccolato anche ed il plus è che ogni bevanda viene accompagnata da un bicchierino di cioccolata calda!

Molto buona la sacher alle nocciole; per il resto i dolci che abbiamo assaggiato si sono rivelati un po’ deludenti, anche se erano già finiti quelli tipici della colazione per cui la pasticceria è rinomata.
