Day at the pool with lunch at the restaurant. The place has 3 swimming pools, one for dogs, a shallow one for children and a large one for adults. At the restaurant the specialty is grilled meat. Courteous and pleasant staff. The only small flaw is that the place could use some updating, especially the wooden walkways by the pools.

Farm with animals, a swimming pool for humans and one for dogs, restaurant with quick service and tasty dishes. The point of excellence is the grilled meat, with refined cuts and impeccable cooking. The strawberry and peach sorbet is a real treat and deserves to be tasted. The environment is informal, not recommended for those who are used to being revered rather than served (at the table).

16/02/2025: We went to dinner on Saturday evening 15/02 with a group of friends, there were 10 of us. We arrived at Campo Smith in Bardonecchia around 7.00pm, we took the chairlift up to the slopes, a snowcat was waiting for us there and transported us to the Chesal refuge. It was a wonderful experience, I highly recommend it. The place is charming and the staff are very kind and professional I ate well but I recommend for the future perhaps increasing the doses of polenta and using a more local product, what I ate honestly seemed like the instant one from the supermarket. For the rest nothing to say.
05/02/2025: From the refuge you can enjoy a very suggestive view, the hot chocolate is excellent!

Trattoria Delle Due Province

27/12/2024: Veal with tuna sauce and agnolotti...all delicious and cooked to perfection, prices in line with trattorias but the waiting times are a bit long...probably because they don't have staff...anyway we will return armed with patience
01/11/2024: Place from other times.. Family run restaurant. The owners Piero and Maria are unique for their friendliness, availability and hospitality.... A must try
