Today after a long time (I don't live in the area and I practically never pass by Ponte San Pietro, I used to come there for work but I haven't worked there for years anymore), I found myself in the area and I stopped at the Pasticceria Giove in Ponte San Pietro, whom I already knew in the past, to buy some sweets.
If you want to eat some wonderful pastries, go there... it's been years since I tasted cannoncini, cream puffs, fruit pastries and other models that are "so good!!"
The pastry, the custard...a marvel for the palate!!
Fresh, soft, crunchy, tasty and delicate at the same time...an apotheosis of taste...they took me back to when, as a little girl, I ate the pastries that my father bought on Sundays, that true taste, that perfume, that quality, that craftsmanship and passion that you felt in the combination of the pastry with the custard for the cannoncini, that you felt when biting into the cream puffs, in the pastries delicately soaked in liqueur, in the chocolate icings... which today you practically no longer find, leaving room for synthetic and tasteless flavors .
The Giove pastry shop is truly a pastry shop from the past, the goodness and authenticity of its products, the professionalism and passion of its owner puts it in the first and absolute place for me among the choices to make!!
Don't miss the opportunity to go there, it would really be a shame!!! You would really miss out!!
Compliments !!!
