The Tre corone pastry and ice cream shop is truly a fine example of Sicilian confectionery craftsmanship. Just being in the vicinity of the business is enough to perceive ancient aromas that take you back to childhood. I live in Messina in the afternoon I often find myself between Alì and Roccalumera and I discovered this paradise only yesterday, as soon as we entered a very friendly girl welcomes us and makes us sit down, we take two lemon granitas and believe me it's not trivial because the lemon granita 🍋 is difficult to make and depends on a very different raw material in the seasons. A masterpiece, very good and with a perfect balance, sweet without compromising the right acidity of the lemon but it doesn't end there, I ask for a couple of piparelli to accompany the granita and I am advised to try, for free, in addition to the classic version also the one dipped in chocolate dark... A marvel, like entering a time machine, fragrant, rich in almonds and with a hint of cinnamon aroma that embellishes the rest. It is nice for a Sicilian to think that there are still businesses that are attentive to customers and passionate about producing products without forgetting tradition and without skimping on the refinement of the raw material. Well done, the summer is long and I will try many other things but in the meantime thank you for your generosity to all the Trecorone staff and see you soon. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 👍
