I took a tour of Eastern Sicily and visited Messina. It's a wonderful city, and I went to this pastry shop, which I already knew. I ordered many things, including a cassata that was nothing short of sublime, with a delicate flavor. My compliments for the deliciousness you offer to all your customers. To those who haven't been yet, I highly recommend it.

The granita and cream are very good. Perhaps a little sweet. There's only room for two inside, but several tables outside overlook the Catalan Church, right in the city center. Granita cost: €2.80.

We entered near closing time, but the girls were still very kind. I had two granitas, one peach and one almond. They were truly divine, you could really taste the fruit! I also bought some almond souvenirs to take back to my relatives. They also offered us two truly delicious almond pastries that melted in our mouths! Highly recommended! If you're passing through Messina, it's a must-see!

10/11/2025: My wife and I were struggling to find a restaurant open on a Monday afternoon until we found this gem. My wife, who has Sicilian family members said this tasted just like a home cooked meal! You can see the cooks in the back making everything fresh. The service is great and they make you feel like you’re eating at someone’s home. Definitely a must if you’re visiting the area!

12/11/2025: We dined at this restaurant for the feast of San Martino. The experience was positive, thanks to the welcoming atmosphere of a clean farm and the quality of the food. The appetizers of cured meats, cheeses, and vegetables were fresh, delicious, and varied. The highlight was the macaroni with pork sauce (traditional and the nettle one, a house specialty): al dente pasta, flavorful sauce, and tender meat, a medium portion. The staff was extremely courteous and welcoming. The farmhouse-style atmosphere is warm and refined. The price was a bit higher than expected; for the appetizer, macaroni with pork sauce, local wine, and homemade liqueur, with a small homemade tart dessert, we spent €30 per person. Overall, an experience recommended for those seeking good traditional cuisine, attentive service, and a beautiful rural setting.
