I think the photos are enough to make you understand the level of quality that distinguishes everything that is made by the Fede pastry shop. Everything is very good, very fresh and you realize that we are talking about raw materials of absolute quality. I believe, without fear of being contradicted, that the cream among the best in Modica is that of Fede but it would be wrong to list something and forget something else. The thing to do is only one, plan more stops in this pastry shop and try the breakfasts, the granitas, the cakes (pineapple and mandarin to die for), the simple fresh pastries as well as, during the Christmas and Easter periods, panettone and colombe..... Here you go on the safe side and the staff, as well as Giorgio have in kindness and courtesy, another of their strong points.... surely I am forgetting something but you play it safe and plan more stops!!!!!! Super super recommended....

Sono di Roma e ho una casa a Modica alta, per fortuna vicino alla Pasticceria Fede. Vi assicuro che scendere la bellissima scalinata della chiesa di San Giovanni e entrare da Fede... beh, vi fa iniziare bene la giornata! La scelta dei lievitati è ampia e tutti buonissimi. Io d'inverno prendo cioccolata calda con panna e cornetto alla ricotta, esco con il sorriso e giro per Modica con energia positiva. Tanti sono i dolci da provare, tra i vari il Tartufo di farina di carruba sua specialità, i Macalle e tutto ciò che ha crema di pistacchio o mandorle per gustare la Sicilia nel suo cuore. Ieri ho portato a Roma i cannoli di ricotta, in una bella scatola con crema in sac a poche e i cannoli separati, squisiti anche il giorno dopo. Fede e il suo staff molto gentili e disponibili, locale ben arredato. Insomma, pasticceria da non perdere!
