Pasticceria Duca In Roma

Craving something sweet while visiting Rome? There are countless places to recommend in this city. New ones are constantly popping up, but this small patisserie is truly exceptional. Giacomo and Natalia have created a unique haven for palates in need of satisfaction. Giacomo himself has now educated the heir to his secrets and left the ovens in his care. His wife, Natalia, still manages the shop herself, but she is less and less present. When asked if she intends to retire, she denies with a smile and a typical Italian shrug that this is the end. And kudos to her for that. For me, the best place for sweets is the Laterano area. Incidentally, it's hard not to find yourself in this area when visiting Rome.

Excellent pastry shop and they are so sweet!! I chose the Chanel cake for my daughter's birthday with wild strawberry sponge cake, Chantilly cream and cream puffs and it was fabulous!!! The guests were more than satisfied and asked for seconds! I also bought pastries, croissants and maritozzi for other occasions, these too were fabulous and light!!

This pastry shop in San Giovanni is one of, if not the, best in Rome. From the cakes to the small pastries, all the products are exceptional. In particular, the cream-filled maritozzi and the croissants they bake every morning truly deserve 5 stars.

Ich habe mich ein wenig in Rom verlaufen und wurde hungrig. Dann kam ich an diesem süßen Laden vorbei und konnte nicht widerstehen hineinzuschauen. Mich begrüßte eine sehr liebe Dame hinter dem Tresen und hat mir tolle Empfehlungen gegeben. Konnte danach mit klassischem italienischen Gebäck glücklich weiter meines Weges gehen. War super lecker :)

Pasticceria storica di zona , un punto di riferimento e una garanzia , semplicemente tutto fantastico , freschezza e cordialità al primo posto ... complimenti ai 2 ragazzi della nuova gestione ( marito e moglie ) bravi bravi bravi e ancora BRAVI !!! ... Quella in foto è la chesscake cocco e pistacchio , sublime ... Le papille degustative stanno ancora ringraziando , chi l ha mangiata è rimasto entusiasta !!!
