ONE OF THE 4 BEST IN MODENA Pastry shop that always works And always. Fast, trained, professional and impeccable staff. Endlessly baked dumpling made on the spot. Very good Erbazzone. High level eggnog cream puffs. The showcase is a lust. My breakfasts are €10 (even alone).

Dondi is not just a bar. Dondi is the history and customs of a city. New faces and familiar faces of a small town. The dessert display leaves you speechless just by looking at it. The savory food is of really high quality. The sensory experience you absolutely must try is the cream cannoli. Unique and unattainable, a crunchy pastry with an abundant cream content with an incredible flavour. Another experience to try (a must for the people of Modena) is the gnocco (dumpling for those coming from outside) with ham and cappuccino. Fried at the moment. You can't pass through Modena and not go to Dondi for breakfast.

Weekend in Modena.. I searched on Google for a good coffee shop and pastry shop where to have breakfast and this one inspired me a lot.. and I was right... you can't understand the desserts... the custard... a bomb we had 4 coffees in two. I have been a bar owner for 30 years and I must say that finding bars around that make good coffee is not easy.. well here it was really good ❤️.. we took some cream puffs for breakfast and 3 large cannolis to take back to Turin... If you are in the area don't miss it. It's a little out of the center but it's worth it. At the coffee machine there is a gentleman of a certain age... I thought I saw the same passion that my mother put into it... there is also an outdoor terrace. I forgot there's also a savory corner❤️
