Coffee with added zabaglione is fabulous and the pastries are always fresh and excellent.

The cream and savoury pastries are excellent, as are the coffees and cappuccinos with zabaglione, but the place is too small and very crowded.

A dream! I tried the cappuccino with zabaglione and a cannoli that were simply out of this world!! Highly recommended.

There's no competition for anyone! Almost every morning, at the end of my shift, I run over to them for breakfast, I mean, guys, the best: croissants, pastries, dumplings, etc. Another 100 years!

Excellent breakfast, delicious cappuccino made by an experienced barista, and a fantastic creamy pastry, all at a reasonable price compared to other cafés in the area. Plus, the other staff at the counter are friendly and helpful! I mean, if it's so crowded at 9:30 in the morning, there must be a reason! Highly recommended!

Super breakfast with two buts Dondi has always been my number one place for breakfast, not just in Modena Amazing cappuccino Usually excellent pastries Today, the chocolate braids and the ones with raisins didn't seem as fresh as usual, a hint of dissatisfaction, even though I'm used to the superior quality of this pastry shop where I've been going, albeit intermittently, for decades. There's a second issue: Tables occupied by people who had long since finished eating; it was 9:30. It would be enough to come by and clear the table; it's part of the service. By doing so, those who lack the sensitivity and education to understand that there are people standing, waiting, and standing, eating would probably understand the need to clear the table and make room for those who have a better right to it. These are two points for improvement. Not criticisms. I'm truly sorry not to give Dondi pastry shop the 5 stars it deserves for many reasons, and certainly not just today.

A very nice little place for breakfast. Savory and sweet specialties. Fair prices and great taste. It seems to be an insider tip, even among the locals. We'd love to go back!
