While traveling in Italy, I wanted to find a cake to celebrate a birthday, but unlike France, it was not an easy task. I am very happy to have found this pastry. Friendly and polite staff. Excellent desserts, both savory and fabulous sweet croissants. They make you feel at home. Good coffee and excellent cappuccinos.

I came back here today to have breakfast...it was since 2020...being far from my home...always top cappuccino and always very kind. Antonello and colleagues.

Classic place to have a simple/ordinary breakfast. Good selection of salty and sweet, perhaps mostly the latter, in addition to beverages of various kinds. We had "salata" (so salty food, not salad, which means ham in a kind of puff pastry base), in addition to freshly squeezed orange juice, crema al Caffè, and a cake bling. Was way too full. Was here two out of three days. Definitely worth a visit.

I only stopped here a couple of times, since I don't spend much time in this area, but every time the pastries were fresh, despite the time. Chantilly cream puffs were delicious! Friendly staff, there are few seats inside, but a large outdoor area. I highly recommend!

Part of Bologna for nearly fifty years Pasticceria D'Azeglio is named after the street it inhabits, early opening hours on Monday making it an ideal option for nearby businesses in one of the city’s most upscale shopping districts. Rustic and small without a Bar like so many Italian Pastry Shops, though Espresso shots are still pulled quick, guests arriving early will find good diversity including Cornetti stuffed with flavored Cream and Viennoiserie including a Raisin coil topped in Frosting. Priced lower than nearby competition, a particularly boozy Baba just €3, look for Sfogliatelle tucked away amidst everything else and if fortune smiles it will be warm with shattering layers yielding Ricotta and Semolina with Citrus inside.

Per me la Pasticceria D'Azeglio è una vera istituzione a Bologna. Per oltre 20 anni, questo luogo magico ha accompagnato i miei momenti più significativi, le torte della Pasticceria D'Azeglio sono diventate una tradizione familiare, una presenza costante nelle celebrazioni più importanti della mia vita. Ogni morso è una festa per i sensi, un'esplosione di sapori artigianali che si fondono armoniosamente con ricordi indelebili. I cornetti, poi, sono una vera delizia. Li ho scoperti da studente fuori sede, e da allora sono diventati una tappa obbligata. Croccanti all'esterno, soffici e fragranti all'interno, sono il modo perfetto per iniziare la giornata o concedersi una pausa gourmet in qualsiasi momento. L'atmosfera accogliente e familiare della pasticceria aggiunge un tocco speciale all'esperienza. Entrare in questa pasticceria è come tornare a casa, accolti sempre con un sorriso caloroso e un servizio impeccabile.
