Pasticceria Dagnino In Roma

Let's just say it's not the best in terms of food or presentation. We had a glass from the 1930s, all scratched and discolored, but the prices are today's!

It was a very good cannoli and cappuccino. Also, the shopkeeper was very nice and took time to speak English. I tried my best with Italian. It was a nice visit! We sat in the main hall, but a salesman tried to sell us books… Not the best…

The coffee could be their strong point, but it isn't fully there. The service could also be a major strength given the location, but it isn't as strong as it should be. The stylish, if slightly dated, ambiance could be enhanced with more splendor, light, and refinement, but something is missing. In short, something better is missing, and certainly a lack of willpower on the part of the management, to deserve a nice 5-star rating. I definitely recommend it, but with a 4!

Simply spectacular. Everything is beautiful, from the location to the place to the pastry shop, and it's also delicious. I haven't tasted such a good cream in years. You can immediately tell they're made with top-quality products, everything fresh, and so much more. I was even offered water for my coffee. The gentleman who served me always had a smile and was on time. I also love the historic costumes they have. You can see it's a beautiful, historic place frequented by locals, thank goodness, without the mass tourism of low-quality tourists found elsewhere. It's very relaxed, quiet, and has a nice clientele. Simply 10+++ for me. See you soon 😍😋😋😋 P.S. I happened to read some reviews from people complaining about the unclear prices. I have eyes like everyone else, and I saw the prices clearly displayed and understood everything perfectly, and everything was exactly as it was when I received the receipt, with no surprises or anything else. It's understandable that in times of chaos, mistakes can happen, since we're all humans, not robots. By pointing this out politely, I assume a solution will always be found, and not just randomly leaving negative reviews because you're unable to read the clearly displayed menu prices and other things, or because, in your cunning, you use every trick in the book to try and get discounts, and when you don't get them, you leave negative reviews out of your own personal malice. (A small personal reflection)

Overpriced but delicious options.

What a hidden gem οf a shop, even if it stands here for more than 60 years, as we were told. We ordered two three-egg omelettes with ham & cheese (both amazing), plus cappuccinos — amongst the best in Rome. The service was exceptional and the whole vibe really rewarding. Funny that in our modern Instagram/Tik Tok era, places like these can remain offbeat when you should really pay a visit.

Eat like an Italian, not just another tourist!

We sat down on the 15th of August during the Italian Ferragosto, by chance, because all the other coffee shops in the surrounding area were closed. We ordered 2 negroni and as accompaniments they brought us olives, pistachios and 2 plates with panini and toast at the price of 12 euros each cocktail@ Impeccable service, it also has very nice food and desserts

My mornings in Rome began with coffee and Dagnino's Corneto.
