We went in as ignorant tourists looking for a pastry we’d seen on Stanley Tucci’s show about food in Italy. They didn’t have that, but the staff kindly and patiently guided us towards some other delightful sweets. When I mentioned we were looking to celebrate a birthday, they were kind enough to throw in candles free of charge.

I ordered an exceptional vegan cappuccino (soy milk) at the counter! One of the best I've ever had, congratulations! I then ordered two mini ricotta and pistachio cannoli to go, which were very well received; I spent €8 in total. It's a shame about the restrooms; they could use a little updating.

The coffee was good, but the croissant with ricotta was even better!! After three years I came back, the Sicilian specialties were always very good, but the place needs a fix, especially the coffee machine counter! A historic place can't repair damage with duct tape!!

Geweldige jaren 50 interieur, alsof Sofia Loren ieder moment kan binnenvallen. Bediening in mooi witte jassen, alles zoals vroeger. Fijne cappuccino, prachtige chocolade, live piano toen we ‘s avonds langsliepen van hele oude pianist, past allemaal in het plaatje. Alleen Italianen gezien: mooi authentiek
