When I was a child, my mother used to bring me Mantovana when she came home from work. That flavor has remained in my heart, and after so many years, I've found it just the same, capable of transporting me back in time. A deliciousness that never changes and still excites. An excellent, classic-style pastry shop offering breakfast, both at a small indoor table and outside. The ladies are attentive to the counters (kudos to their skill, considering their age). Breakfast is good, with classics as well as traditional local pastries and cakes.

Welcoming, very centrally located, ideal for a quick breakfast or a short break.
The two friendly ladies offer a wide selection of cakes, pastries, croissants, and cakes!
The outdoor seating is comfortable, the place is quiet, and there are few people.
The coffee is good, and the croissant is freshly filled and reheated with cream. I wasn't crazy about the cappuccino, but it's still good!

I didn't particularly like the croissant with puff pastry and cream filling because I could smell the almond aftertaste (the smell that fills the air as soon as you enter the shop), which I don't particularly like.
But it's probably a matter of taste, since I'm used to a different type of brioche.
The ladies are kind, although I don't have Satispay, so I was disappointed to pay by card for just a few euros (I never carry cash around since we were on vacation).

Very kind staff and delicious desserts. The only flaw is that the service is a bit slow, but that's only due to the fact that there are usually a lot of people.

Excellent authentic Italian cafe. Perfect place for breakfast or a coffee stop. Good prices and popular with locals. Not touristy. Order at the counter. No cover charge.
