Pasticceria Crystal In Palermo

I've been back three times since it reopened after the renovation. The quality has remained the same and in some ways even improved. The staff is friendly and helpful. The deli food is excellent and the sweet breakfast is excellent. Last week I had the super donut, which was oily, but this morning it was back to its usual high standards. I also tried the baked Iris, which was very delicate. I highly recommend the croissants with lemon cream and the giant donut. Special attention was also paid to the coffee, which is even better than before. Nothing to add, except that it's worth trying several times to try different things. Recommended.

This morning, I purposely stopped to see the new interior design, and I must say, the new layout is stunning. Then, of course, my eyes wandered to the products, which I must say are wonderful, both visually and especially in taste. I had a handmade croissant with orange marmalade, which melted in my mouth, and a delicious coffee, a well-known brand—everything was delicious. The deli selection is so varied, something you only see in a few cafes, and there's a little something for everyone, complemented by a selection of superior-quality cookies and pastries. Last but not least, I paid €2.40 for a croissant and a coffee, a fair price. Well done, and best wishes.

My personal experience is absolutely not positive, but obviously that's a subjective assessment that won't match the opinions of other consumers. I won't go there again.

For me, the best pastry shop in Sicily, and I'd even go so far as to say Italy in terms of value for money. The pistachio cornetti and Nutella, along with the quality of the dough, are the best pastry shops in Spain three times as expensive. The ice cream and coffee are also spectacular, and the place isn't at all touristy. 100% Sicilian. Friendly and fun staff. I usually come to Sicily two or three times a year, and I always have breakfast here. Recommended!
