The center of the old town of Palermo, a must-see when visiting, the main treaty, so it's hard to miss

The hotel itself is located in the center. Therefore, I do not advise you to go there by car - you will get tired. The center of Palermo, especially during peak hours, is something with something.. in places more complicated than Milan. (By the way, it is the TCL zone)
As for the hotel - a good location for walks, pleasant service at the reception. As for the restaurant-bar service, it is better not to go there, unless you want to spoil your mood.

Enchanting place, full of history, a few steps away from another famous monument "the Pretoria fountain" also known as "the fountain of shame".

Overpriced tour unless you really like theatres. Reminded me of the two old men from The Muppets.

What's special about it is that each concave corner is illuminated by the sun once a day - when the sun shines, that is 😉

Quattro Canti (Italian: Quattro Canti, literally "Four Corners") is the popular name for Piazza Villena, one of the central squares of Palermo. It is located at the intersection of Corso Vittorio Emanuele (formerly Cassaro) and Via Maqueda. The square was formed in 1600, when, on the orders of the Spanish Viceroy Maqueda, a straight street was cut through the labyrinth of streets of old Palermo, perpendicular to Cassaro, later named after him. The square is an architectural ensemble in the Sicilian Baroque style, designed in 1609 by Giulio Lasso and completed by 1620 by Giuseppe de Avanzato. All four "corner" façades are executed in the same style. The lower tier of the façades is decorated with a fountain in the form of an allegory of one of the four seasons. The niches of the middle tier contain statues of the Spanish kings Philip II, Philip III, Philip IV, and Emperor Charles V, who also occupied the throne of the Kingdom of Sicily. The upper tier is decorated with statues of Saints Agatha, Cristina, Ninfa, and Oliva, who were venerated as the patronesses of Palermo until the 17th century and later became the patronesses of four quarters of Palermo (behind each martyr is her quarter).

Such a pretty place. Lot of people, everytime i walked by, as expected. There was also live music at the time, that made my experience even more amazing. 🥹🫰🏼

A truly wonderful place! I love the atmosphere there! Every day of my week-long stay in Palermo, I went there at least once. I was able to admire some fantastic musicians and artists performing there.
