Although the location is a bit small and often crowded, the quality of the desserts is truly exceptional: exquisite pastries of excellent quality and unique brioches, decidedly unconventional but definitely above average. A delicious stop here is a must at any time of day!

We visited Pasticceria Cioccolateria Chocolat in Ferrara and appreciated the vegan options, which is not always a given but certainly a positive thing. We ordered two vegan brioches filled with berries: unfortunately, the filling was very generous, with too much jam, making them difficult to eat. We also tried two vegan Sacher tortes, which tasted good but were a bit dry in texture. Overall, the concept is good, and the vegan options are available, but with a little more attention to the balance of the fillings and the softness, it could become an excellent option for those who choose 100% plant-based desserts. If you're going to Ferrara, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit. Even if you have to wait a little while—just a few minutes—it's worth it. No matter what you try, you'll love it. Whether it's the crema, the chocolate, or something with pistachio, it's simply outstanding. Just one thing to note: When you enter the restaurant, you first have to pay at the register in the back on the right, and then take your receipt to the counter and tell them what you ordered.
