I've been an occasional customer for several years now, ever since I moved practically behind the place. The restyling a few years ago has significantly improved the look of the place, making it much more modern and attractive. However, the change in mood has been less effective. Before, I remember 2-3 people at the counter and very little confusion. Now, there are many young people serving, and chaos in front of the counter, with people skipping lines, rushing ahead, and people barely able to concentrate on what's going on or on a service order. As for the products, there's not much to say; the quality has remained the same.

Historic pastry shop in San Salvario. Also a café with excellent specialties. Friendly and helpful staff. Specialties for every event. Excellent panettone at Christmas and meringue pie.

Coffee was decent, as in it had some taste. The savoury croissant was quite good with cooked ham and cheese. The chocolate croissant was very bready, dry, not really proper croissant pastry. No lamination. Nice spaces to sit inside and out. They have a bathroom.

We went to Zichella to try the zeppole, on the recommendation of a friend, and were absolutely amazed. Even though it was our first time trying this dessert, we immediately realized it was top-notch. Everything was incredibly fresh, with a truly sublime flavor. The rest of the products on display seemed of the same excellent quality, and we'll definitely be back to try them again. But what makes everything even better is the customer service: the service was truly warm, friendly, and always attentive to making you feel welcome and comfortable. 100% recommended.
