I have a huge sweet tooth and have tried many pastry shops in Padua... PE is my favorite. They offer artisanal products, and the brioches are truly stunning, both for the eyes and the palate, without being superficial. At Estense, you'll find the real deal! When I walk into PE, my day has already started off on the right foot.

Definitely a historic place. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the pastries are excellent, especially the tarts. The only flaw is that a few more smiles from the staff would have made a difference. A smile at breakfast in the morning is worth much more than a thousand compliments. Overall, a good experience, highly recommended.

Good selection of small pastries, spacious but not refrigerated, prices continue to rise over time (a single pastry costs €1.80, very small ones €1.30). I wasn't crazy about the quality of the cream croissant (which you insert by opening it in half).

10/12/2025: We went for lunch on Saturday (two families with two children each). The place was gorgeous, simple but well-maintained. The food was exquisite, refined, and beautifully presented! The kids' pasta with ragù (not just any ragù) was special! The staff was kind, very friendly, and well-prepared. We'll be back, perhaps on the summer terrace! Well done!
05/12/2025: Delicious food and even better staff. A young but professional team. It was nice to chat with them after dinner. They offer unique and well-balanced dishes. Spectacular location.

17/05/2025: Abbiamo provato il ristorante per caso e siamo stati piacevolmente sorpresi. Il locale è elegante ma accogliente e i piatti sono una rivisitazione moderna di piatti sudamericani. Devo dire che abbiamo mangiato molto bene e le porzioni sono di dimensioni adeguate. Molto buoni anche gli antipasti
16/02/2025: Sarò breve: tutto perfetto, cibo ottimo, location accogliente, personale gentilissimo. Però i prezzi sono davvero molto alti....
