I have a huge sweet tooth and have tried many pastry shops in Padua... PE is my favorite. They offer artisanal products, and the brioches are truly stunning, both for the eyes and the palate, without being superficial. At Estense, you'll find the real deal! When I walk into PE, my day has already started off on the right foot.

Definitely a historic place. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the pastries are excellent, especially the tarts. The only flaw is that a few more smiles from the staff would have made a difference. A smile at breakfast in the morning is worth much more than a thousand compliments. Overall, a good experience, highly recommended.

Good selection of small pastries, spacious but not refrigerated, prices continue to rise over time (a single pastry costs €1.80, very small ones €1.30). I wasn't crazy about the quality of the cream croissant (which you insert by opening it in half).
