I'm back to writing a new review a year after the previous one. The products are excellent, especially the gluten-free options, and the counter is always well-stocked. The atmosphere is beautiful. The staff is slow, inefficient, and poorly organized for the flow of people.

Very fair prices! For a plain brioche, a homemade pizza, two bottles of water, and a rice cake (both homemade and takeout), we spent only €6. The location is very convenient: near the Coop, a little further on from the Pam, with Fandango and Douglas next door, in a fairly central area of San Miniato Basso. A very simple but charming location, with nice tables and very comfortable chairs, and above all, a very bright atmosphere. The staff is extremely kind, friendly, and helpful: a lady and a young woman, both very nice! They even kindly gave us an extra rice cake. Highly recommended! The only flaw: they don't have many gelato flavors (but they do have the classics), and during our visit, the air conditioning was broken—but that's certainly not their fault.

Pastry shop of the highest level: excellent quality, great attention to detail and flavors truly above average. Every dessert is a guarantee. The environment is well-kept and the staff is kind, but often the turnout is really high and it happens that you have to wait in long lines even just for a receipt. That said, it remains one of the best pastry shops in the area. It is worth a visit, but with a little patience.

Super friendly and helpful staff! I was served by both the pastry chef (alas I didn't ask his name) who prepared gluten-free things, and a super kind and cheerful girl! He was super patient and was able to immediately answer my thousand questions and give me advice. They have a display case completely separate from the gluten-free display cases. There are both savory options - not in the photo - and sweet ones, all lactose-free. Some desserts are even vegan. We tried nine small sweet pieces on site and 3 mini cakes to try at home (cheesecake, chocolate and hazelnuts and "pie de limon"). There were also larger cakes made by them frozen in case you wanted them. The mini dessert type Kinder fetta al latte is absolutely a must try, I loved it even though I'm not crazy about chocolate. The cheesecake was really good. The desserts were balanced, not too sweet or cloying, we liked them all from the crema catalana to the red velvet. The price is around €1.20 per piece if you eat there, €35 per kg to take away. If you are allergic to wheat, the leavened products contain deglutinated wheat starch but not everything else. For celiacs, however, there are various things that can be reimbursed as shown in the photo. 🫶🏻 Highly recommended, we will definitely be back! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Good morning. My experience is limited to picking up cakes or pastries with a reservation. The products are excellent and the service is good. The environment is nice, but the table service is not always up to par.

Excellent pastry shop, everything very good and very kind and helpful staff. Excellent value for money. I will definitely be back!

*UPDATE* As correctly suggested by the Owner, I have returned several times while staying in San Miniato. I must say that the first time was probably a bad day. I have to revise upwards for quality, courtesy and environment. Everything is impeccable. Thank you and see you soon Given that the review is an absolutely personal opinion, so it is not an absolute truth, I would like to say that I tried to give other opportunities to this place, but - for me - we are not there. The quality of the products is average (for the cappuccino, we are below zero, but absolutely failed), the environment not all with air conditioning but in the sun (I am speaking for the summer, in winter it is cold), staff let's say ... not very welcoming. Prices are medium to high. But this is okay. Let's say, however, that, honestly, there is much better in the area. *I am modifying the review to respond to the owner: I really thank you for your kind response, truly very kind. Courtesy and kindness win hands down over everything, especially on services of this nature. So when I am again in the area, I will want to return. In the meantime, I wish you a good continuation.
