I've been coming here since I was little, and it's always been an excellent pastry shop, with quality ingredients, bold flavors that never seem overdone, and beautiful designs. The only downside is that they keep raising the prices.

A top-notch place for the quality and attention to detail of the products, all made in their in-house pastry shop. They're unfriendly and a bit snobbish, but it's an absolute must-do for anyone visiting the Tormaranvia street art museum or the catacombs behind it. Ask for the fried croissant... it's an experience you'll remember forever.

Nice streetside spot. Coffee at the table for 1.90, good pistachio croissant for 3.50 at the table, nice mini sandwiches at the counter for 3.50 with a wonderful view of the gas station.

We needed a quick bite and we’re so impressed by the delicious selection and quick service. The tea sandwiches that we ordered were not your typical boring flavors (for example we got a curried egg salad with zucchini). Aside from the savory offerings there were beautiful artistically displayed pastries galore as well as bottles of wine for sale and to enjoy there. I highly recommend this spot.

On Sunday I stopped for breakfast. I'll start by saying that I live on Via Tuscolana specifically to try this pastry shop, and I can say it's quite chaotic, especially because of the lady at the cash register (I think she's the owner) who wants to handle everything herself, with an interminable line at the register.
One thing that bothered me most was that the croissants at the table were priced at a certain price, while the others I took away were priced at a different absurd price.
Cappuccino, coffee, and four croissants (2 fried with cream) €15.10

Good pastries, but unjustified prices.
Paying a minimum of €4.50 for a single portion, smaller than a classic pastry, is truly exaggerated. Mignon pastries are €3.50 each... small sandwiches are €6.
A charming place, but the outdoor tables are literally thrown out onto the sidewalk.
I'd say the time is over when modern pastry shops, being chic, had to cost an arm and a leg.
