A truly luxurious pastry shop. We sat inside, and the place is elegant and quiet. We chose two small pastries from the display case and a freshly squeezed orange juice. The pastries arrived after 15 minutes (a little, a lot?) and were truly delicious, but perhaps overpriced. We paid €7 for a donut filled with excellent cream. I'll conclude. Very good; if you have money to waste, try it once. The quality/price ratio needs to be reconsidered.

Excellent bakery near the hospital, perfect for a post-hospital pick-me-up. Besides desserts, they also serve savory dishes, including pasta and salads. Everything is truly delicious.

Its reputation can be confirmed, as can the class of a pastry shop that represents the best choice in Padua.
We've been several times; there's a bit of a wait, but hey, can you be in a hurry, even at breakfast? I'd say no.
I'd like to highlight a recent courtesy: just last week, we went right when it was reopening, and the staff wasn't fully staffed.
So the wait lasted about 20-25 minutes, not that that's the problem at all; the whole of Padua was there. It was 10:30 a.m., peak time, and the staff was limited.
We were served, and everything was extraordinary as always: the cream-filled Krapfen, the Zeppola with Chantilly cream, and the sandwich with salmon, pine nuts, dill, and iceberg lettuce.
We got to the cashier, and a very kind young lady told us we didn't have to pay, given the long wait.
When a restaurant wants to be prestigious, these are the things that distinguish it from a similarly renowned establishment that perhaps neglects its customers.
Whoever gave the one-star reviews is probably the same old food critic who then eats breaded cutlets at home.

Pasticceria eccellente: le monoporzione, i krapfen (soprattutto alla crema) sono eccellenti, e meritano la fila, il prezzo e a volte anche la difficoltà nel trovare parcheggio. La nota dolente è il salato: è costoso, ma la beffa arriva quando lo si mangia, dato che non è buono.
