I have known the Berardi pastry shop for over 20 years. It also offers a restaurant service as well as a bar and pastry shop. The owner and his son are 2 historical figures of the city of Ruvo and we hope that the generational transition will be positive and the quality and service will remain unchanged. I recommend tasting the Mandorlaccio which is available from December to Easter, better if you order by phone.

Passing through Ruvo di Puglia and not stopping at the Berardi pastry shop is almost madness. For the more sophisticated, a millefeuille with diplomatic cream and caramel and a sponge cake with alcoholic syrup, cream, walnuts and a sprinkling of cocoa, all served by the glass. With a hint of nostalgia, in the memory of grandmothers, pieces of quince jelly combined with a now international delight, such as marron glacé. For the English speakers of the group, a good tea certainly doesn't make a bad impression alongside such delicacy. Historic pastry shop. Had breakfast inside with air conditioning given the heat outside. All good. Price slightly higher than other bars in the area. Very kind waitress.
