Great bakery, also appreciated by many locals, with all sorts of fine delicacies with wonderful fillings. To make you weak...preparing coffee is probably no longer so easy due to age. But that only makes the pasticceria even more authentic.

Had a quick layover in Venice before we caught a train to Vienna and luckily walked past this store. We stopped in to buy treats for the next leg of our journey. The man at the counter was so kind and friendly and I hope I get to go back someday. We bought nougat, bakery items, cookies, and my personal favorite…a long flat piece of black licorice. It was a long flat strip and was so good! A kind of hard flat chew, nothing like I’ve had before. A slight perfumed flavor and not sugary, just perfect. Everything we bought was a real treat and I hope this business will be around for a long time. A real gem. Stop in when you find yourself in Venice and support this wonderful place.

Tucked into the neighborhood near our hotel. Delicious pastries with a lovely staff. Somebody’s grandma is clearly running things and doing it well.

Best Pastry shop in Venice! More of a local spot but every pasty we had was absolutely delicious and fresh as could be. Absolutely worth a few minutes walk from Rialto Bridge for a superior pastry experience.

Amazing bakery/pasticceria in San Polo, a minute from the Rialto Bridge. We started everyday of our stay at this tiny pastry paradise. Crispy, flaky, heavenly morsels filled with a huge variety of luscious creamy fillings. Service is super friendly (run by a darling mother and son), prices incredibly reasonable and the only great cup of coffee I found in Venice. Such good vibes here with locals and tourists enjoying pastries, coffee, alcoholic beverages, candy throughout the day and into the evening. You can enjoy your goodies on premises rubbing elbows with the locals or get it for take away. In the front window, they have an apple strudel type pastry with almonds on top that is to die for (even the Austrians there had to admit it was good apple strudel) and they have a huge assortment of nougat, licorice, limoncello, liquors, nut candy, kid candy (think Pez and lollipops) that are fantastic. Don’t miss this place if you’re in Venice!
