The best pastry shop in the area and probably in Rome. The absolute go-to for cakes, cream puffs, and pastries. I've always been impressed with their superb desserts at family parties and gatherings with friends. Thank you ❤️

I've finally rediscovered that fresh, delicious, homely taste and smell!!! The pastries are always fresh and uncluttered, but the essentials! Sometimes we see such beautiful displays, but the taste disappoints... but here everything is so simple, yet not disappointing at all... on the contrary! Try it and you'll see... And last but not least... the owners are incredibly kind and smiling. They're a family!

Villa Rugantino

11/06/2026: The Golden House of restaurants, its emperor is chef Maurizio Brugiatelli. "Nero wouldn't have burned Rome." A day trip? A stroll by the sea? Beautiful, but where to eat? I happened upon this restaurant in Anzio by chance. These are blessings that don't happen often in life, and it's only right to share them with others. We're in Anzio, a seaside city, but also home to Nerone, so it's the place where Roman cuisine marries freshly caught fish. I chose the typical Roman appetizers, coratella, beans, and many other delicacies. My wife chose the fish appetizer, many small appetizers with many small dishes, just as we like them. Then there's an endless choice of first and second courses, both Roman and fish-based. The fabulous, freshly baked whole-grain bread and homemade desserts. Everything is homemade and refined, elegantly and charmingly presented by the owner and his daughter. They're fantastic, kind, and helpful people. The atmosphere is beautiful, with a large veranda overlooking the outdoor garden. The internal dining room is very warm and pleasant, where you can enjoy gricia, and in the evening the real Pinsa, the Roman pizza with a long leavening time, cooked in a wood-fired oven, very digestible and topped in incredible ways. I'll be back to let myself be pampered by them. They, because I still have so many things to try, including all of Roberta's desserts. I'll recommend it to all my friends. Today they treated me to some delicious treats that really brightened my day. I had a condominium meeting in the afternoon, and strangely enough, I didn't argue, probably thanks to them. If you also have an afternoon meeting, I recommend lunch at this fabulous restaurant, which, in Roman parlance, "eat well and spend little." It's been 2,000 years since Nero burned down Rome. If he'd eaten at this restaurant before, he definitely wouldn't have done so...
11/05/2026: Well, it's not the first time I've come here, and it certainly won't be the last. The food is superb, the staff is fast, friendly, and helpful, the prices are top-notch, and the ingredients are incredibly fresh. What more could you ask for? Five stars from me.
