The airport itself is really clean and offers a lot of services, food or entertainment wise. It’s definitely one of the best airports me and my boyfriend have visited. If we had to wait for hours for a transfer flight, waiting inside the airport was very nice. There are chargers present and the time goes by quite fast. There is a shopping mall right across the airport, where we went to quite often. If you ever consider travelling through this airport, we both recommend it ✨

However, despite its potential, boarding control represents a major drawback. The lines are excessively long, the process is slow, and it is stressful for passengers, even during off-peak hours. The growing number of flights has clearly exceeded its current operational capacity. This airport urgently needs an expansion to better manage the volume of travelers. In short, it is a promising infrastructure, well located and equipped, but it must resolve its overcrowding problems as soon as possible to keep up with the traffic it already handles.

Although it looks small, with its stores and food options, it is much more than Sabiha Gökçen and the prices are very reasonable, you can fill your stomach for the price of a bagel in our country. There are stores of many brands, clothing and cosmetics. It is an airport where you will not say "there are still 2-3 hours to go" and you will not understand how time flies. It is 1 hour away from Milan and you can reach the central train station from the center of Milan with prices ranging between 10-12 euros per person and you can return from the same place. Do not expect politeness or understanding from the bus drivers and do not even ask questions. Have a nice flight.
