It is a "historic" pastry shop in Milan in the center with a nice environment and good service. This is precisely why an ice cream shop that says it doesn't have hot chocolate in January is not acceptable!

Historic shop a stone's throw from the Duomo. Very interesting pastries and various snacks. They serve Illy coffee. Impeccable hygiene, even regarding the toilet. I have never encountered any rudeness, not even when I was poorly dressed: perhaps many mistake confidentiality, which I find appreciable and unfortunately not very widespread, for lack of kindness. If you want the neighborhood bar full of rude people thinking of them as 'so friendly and easy-going', Italy is full of them: please take a seat. Here they have never chased away the many dirty and poorly dressed people who ask for alms in front of the door, nor do they wait for customers to turn the corner to utter unpleasant gossips. Regarding the surcharge for the tables, I am sorry to have noted the disappointment of some passing customers: I recommend always asking first, and in any case consider the area. I think in this regard that, rather than writing a bad review here, perhaps it was worth mediating with the staff: they would probably have applied a discount, and this is told to you by someone who when she went for the first time only consumed a measly coffee at the counter - so ban on surcharges - and kept the bathroom occupied for like half an hour, because due to spondylosis I felt bad with my stomach. Did they make a move? No, in fact, they urged me not to apologize. There were bars like this, and people WHO RESPECT EVERYONE. Hardly ever found such distinction and Northern European mentality here in our country. .

Disagree with the mixed reviews published! Friendly setting and atmosphere, welcoming and smiling staff. Hot drinks and quality pastries. Price is a bit exaggerated: €7 per tea is more expensive than in Switzerland!!!!!!

The chocolata is not good here, over priced.

Good desserts and coffee accompanied however by too slow service. The services are terrible and also testify to the incivility of the customers.

Place to have a coffee and little else, the desserts and sweets they offer are not of the best quality and quite expensive for what they are, it was not the best experience! I don't recommend it!!!
