Parador cafe 2.0 In Bolano

Impeccable service, Oscar-worthy breakfasts, tasty and delicious pastas, not to mention the fantastic aperitifs. Absolutely worth trying

For years, I have had my breakfast in bars, depending on my work trips... we are in the province, I move between the towns of the province, not in the city, not in places frequented by tourists... Here with us, the tourists they come for the many holiday homes that have been created and which, compared to the center or the proximity to the seaside places, would cost much more. Once the summer is over, we are the same customers as always... This is why I am very disturbed by the notable difference in price that I found at the Parador café... the usual pasta (always the same) that I usually pay 1.20 for, a half glass of latte macchiato with very little coffee. Generally it varies from 2.20 to 2.30 in total, every morning, in all the other bars....3, 10 seems really too much to me...I am told that their milk and coffee costs 1.80 ..yes, but I wanted a small glass of milk, not the tall glass that is usually used and so if you have the fixed price, tomorrow I'll take it in the carafe...

It's not the first time I've gone to the Parador but yesterday I really found an absolutely pleasant, quiet environment where I was also able to take care of some work situations. The staff was really pleasant, kind and very helpful. Quality food and drinks. It will be my favorite place to spend some time for work or leisure.

We sat outside in the shadow of the building but went in to place our order of coffees (cappuccinos and lattes) and various breakfast sandwiches, mainly filled with ham and cheese. The place was quite busy, being popular with many people who seemed to know each other - the local regulars I guess. We seemed to be the only obvious tourists but who cared? I liked the fact that despite our lack of Italian, we got friendly, polite service. All good!

The only positive sides are the ease of parking and the outdoor space available, otherwise it is an "anonymous" bar which is fine just for a breakfast Following the operator's response, I would add that it is precisely the smile (as well as a good morning, a please and a thank you) that was missing from both girls. As for the prices, they are absolutely in line (rightly) with those of the competition 😉
