Papavero Street Gourmet In Assisi

Excellent place for a dinner with friends, different flavors than usual, professional and courteous staff, pleasant environment. The dishes are truly intriguing, colorful and very appetizing, prices slightly above average, especially the wines, but still worth the evening. Every time I go I'm tempted to try something new, but also to try those I've already tasted in the past, I'm spoiled for choice.

Too many sauces, everywhere. And they aren't listed on the menu, so when the dish arrives you find it drowned in sauce without even knowing it. In my case, in particular, they were the salmon, avocado and guacamole tacos... I update my latest review, reiterating once again the fact that there are ingredients used in the dishes that are not reported in any way on the menu. Specifically, the Shrimp Bowl in which I found cheddar, which was absolutely not written on the menu. It's true that the girl who took the order asked us if we had allergies, but maybe some people don't eat certain things due to personal tastes. Cheddar is not like a decorative salad, it melts, ends up on the plate changing the taste. For the service, it was really excessively slow, especially for being a Tuesday evening without even too many people.

Very tasty and varied food and good value for money as the portions are very large. The ambience matches the international cuisine.

We had dinner at Papavero because they had spoken well to us about this mix of flavours, led by a Michelin-starred chef. We experienced excellent dishes, others too heavy due to excess spices. Overall, it's worth a try!

One word: EXCEPTIONAL! Top service, exceptional food quality and HUGE portions, all for prices you wouldn't expect. Absolutely worth repeating.

A very nice restaurant, the food arrived quickly but the ramen did not arrive as ramen at all, it arrived in a plate with all the things, but the staff was nice and kind..

Efficient and. pleasant service . Good asian fusion food. My main remark is thar the ramen eass a noodle dish and not a soup as expected.

Storico posto fusion in centro a Santa Maria degli Angeli, decido di tornarci dopo tanto tempo. Prendiamo due antipasti in 4, che sono enormi e davvero ricchi di molte varietà di cibo diverse, tutti più o meno fritti e speziati. Molto buoni devo dire, poi come seconda portata il crunch chiken wrap (Piadina arrotolata con ripieno di pollo in tempura, cheddar cavolo viola, bacon mayo e salsa chilli). Anche questo buono ma secondo me da prendere come piatto unico. Dico attenzione agli abbinamenti perché l’accostamento di fritti e spezie a me personalmente la notte è risultato molto indigesto. Buona selezione di birre. Anche sul prezzo bisognerebbe lavorarci un minimo. Comunque il posto ha il suo perché, se piace il genere.
