Typical mountain restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. The owner is a quaint guy. The prices are high and the choice of dishes is not the best. 80 euros for two to have eaten an appetizer, a cut, a side dish of vegetables, a dessert and two glasses of wine with water are perhaps too much.

Monday 5 August, we booked for 4 adults and a 20 month old baby (high chair). Piedmontese cuisine with typical dishes revisited with great skill, already known from previous visits and a pleasant rustic venue.
In short, all the positive premises for spending a pleasant gastronomic moment.
We ordered 3 identical risottos and a portion of black truffle gnocchi for the adults, 1/2 portion of the same risotto for the child. Followed by two baked pork shanks and two grilled vegetables with bagna cauda… homemade desserts and coffee. All very good....and here we must however point out an unpleasant episode....
At the time of the bill, the waitress marked me with 4 risottos instead of 3 and 1/2 portions for the child... (note that the entire portion costs €16 and the menu requires you to order at least 2 portions).
To my polite complaints, she replies that she was told to count 4 whole portions. Let me start by saying that I don't want to argue about the extra €8 paid unjustly....but it seems to me like a "lapse in style"...of the property. Our correctness in ordering a half portion for a child who obviously eats much less has achieved this result....next time we will order full portions for the adults and an empty plate....

The environment is very nice and typical, with friendly and nice staff, even if sometimes a little over the top. The dishes are refined and particular, with attention to the quality of the raw materials.
However, there was a problem with the dessert: I had ordered a blueberry panna cotta, expecting the classic version, but without being informed, it was served with saffron.
Such a particular taste should be reported when ordering, to avoid unpleasant surprises. I left more than half of it.
Prices are high, but consistent with the level of the place.

Characteristic place, we ate: an exquisite piece of meat, an excellent risotto, and an excellent cut with rocket, the bunet was also good! Everything perfect!

Very good food, with simple but very inviting dishes.
Don't expect the classic trattoria atmosphere: we found the staff, including Paolino, not very attentive. The owner seems to treat customers as he pleases
