A lovely little place with excellent, fresh food. I enjoyed the pasta with fish, and a very good tiramisu. Recommended!

Very pleasant and welcoming place in the center of Brindisi. The dishes are prepared and the products are fresh and of high quality, as is the choice of wines. The owners and waiters are all helpful and kind and the prices are normal. Good address to consider.

Very good but the bill was a little too salty. It is a refined environment and the dishes are local cuisine and well executed, but to be the top it would be enough to be a bit less expensive.

What a great restaurant, the food is simply amazing. And so are the wines. Traditional Italian food made to perfection. And prices are not crazy.m for a bib-gourmand/michelin. 2 pers incl. Bottle of wine, sparkling water and 3 courses €112

The starters are excellent - we tried the mixed plates of land and sea, both were excellent and all of the listed starters were included. The Secondi are also very tasty (Black Angus, second catch of the day fried). Unfortunately, the shrimp were difficult to remove from the shell and the fat eye on the Angus beef (which was unfortunately lukewarm to cold when sliced) was relatively large. The fee for cover etc is €3 per person. And overall the prices are quite high, but this is justified especially for the starter plates and the quality of the food. The service is very attentive and even gave us Autan against the flies.

The place found by chance during a business trip. If you are tired and want to eat something quick this is not the right place.....we waited 45 minutes to have the seared fish with cooked vegetables.... And it was a Tuesday evening with exactly 5 tables occupied.

Tasty food prepared with love. .the aubergines melt in your mouth, excellent broad bean puree, excellent fried paranza...exceptional wine and delicious chocolate biscuits are offered with the coffee. Very kind waiter and owner..highly recommended

08/01/2025: It deserves 5 stars all in all. Very nice place in the alleys of the town. Nice and friendly girls. The manager is very friendly and available for a chat (work permitting). Food made me feel like a child again when I went back to my grandparents. We had a peaceful lunch with a good homemade primitive. Thank you.

Osteria Monacelle

22/01/2025: At Osteria Le Monacelle in Ostuni, the orecchiette with turnip tops, anchovies and breadcrumbs are a tribute to the Apulian tradition: well-balanced flavours, very fresh ingredients and a perfect crunchiness given by the toasted breadcrumbs. The restaurant stands out for its welcoming atmosphere, impeccable service and open kitchen, which adds authenticity to the experience. A recommended stop for those who love the authenticity of Apulian cuisine.
01/01/2025: Very good food and wine in a very nice venue. Adequate prices, the only flaw is the slightly expensive cover charge. Still recommended.
