Pleasant sensory experience.
We dined outdoors although sheltered from the wind, the dishes were excellent as was the freshness of the ingredients.
With seafood: the risotto is very good but also the potato gnocchi; the frying is tender, crunchy and not greasy; the swordfish parcel is intriguing. For dessert, the chef outdid himself with a creme brulee, licorice, citron and flakes of provolone!
If that wasn't enough, the attentive, prompt, polite and discreet service entrusted to Raoul Bova's twin brother in a white linen shirt!

Sublime experience, we tasted various dishes mixed between sea and land, excellent food and location located near the sea, the only flaw but it has no influence on whether bitters would have been offered at the end of the meal given that we spent a significant amount, it would have been the icing on the cake but all in all there is no obligation and that's fine, all things considered I recommend you try the dishes of this place.

Io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo cenato qui qualche sera fa. Cibo molto buono, soprattutto l’antipasto di mare e la pasta con l’astice.
Ci hanno fatto accomodare nei tavoli all’esterno e siamo rimasti parecchio delusi dalla vista… in parte si vedeva il mare, ma in parte si vedeva il retro di vecchi edifici molto mal tenuti con alcuni mobili accatastati…
Do comunque una valutazione alta perché il cibo era buono, però trattandosi di una serata romantica la vista era una parte importante.

Vogliamo sperare sia stata una serata no in generale perché se si punta a fare qualcosa di diverso dal solito ristorante turistico stagionale non è sicuramente la strada giusta. Location nota positiva e anche la zona è più tranquilla e silenziosa. Servizio totalmente inesistente. Piatti blandi e assemblati, con contorno di attesa di quasi 45 minuti per i primi, in particolare i tagliolini, che erano più simili a delle fettuccine, con gamberi (non pervenuti) e da menù "letto di 'nduja" che nella realtà si è tradotto in un cucchiaino scarso sotto la pasta, che ha dato al piatto cremosità e apporto di sapore pari a zero e per giunta nemmeno piccante (la 'nduja NON piccante!!!). Unico piatto quasi salvabile, se non fosse stata scotta la pasta, gli spaghettoni con le vongole. I secondi, baccalà con peperone crusco quasi bruciato e frittura generica, sono arrivati a 5 minuti di distanza l'uno dall'altro, senza scuse o commenti da parte del personale di sala. Abbiamo provato a chiedere un dolce ma dopo 20 minuti di attesa ci è passata la voglia e siamo corsi a pagare, anche qui di fronte alla cassa zero scuse e zero commenti sul dolce non pervenuto. Conto salatissimo rispetto alla qualità del cibo e del servizio.

The restaurant is located in the historic center of Diamante and overlooks the lower part of the town, creating a beautiful atmosphere and a little breeze that makes you sweat less during the hot summer evenings. The menu offers various first and second courses while the starters are more limited or rather you can choose only their mixed starter (cost €18) which is served on a large palette and is made up of various fish samples, all delicious. If you want you can also divide it in two. Both of the first ones we had were spectacular and memorable. Finally, the fried food, luckily we shared it, because it was very abundant and also very good.
The only negative point was the rather long waiting times for the first and second courses. I don't understand why the total review score is only 4.1…. The prices are also average for the place... certainly they are slightly higher than in a trattoria or a restaurant on the outskirts but they are absolutely not disproportionate or prohibitive. From what I could understand, the wines have a rather significant mark-up.

Nice place, well-kept, very friendly and smiling waiters, all very good, not exactly cheap and definitely slowfood. But you pay for quality and expect it, long but not excessive waits, we asked for French fries for our son who was still feeling peckish after pasta and they brought them very quickly.
The only flaw is that the tables are not level.
