I spent a work week at this hotel. The rooms are very spacious and have a very comfortable terrace. The hotel is located on the seafront, although the sea and beach aren't particularly beautiful due to the overgrown vegetation. I also ate at the hotel restaurant, where I found everything quite good, and the staff were very kind and friendly. The experience was more than positive; the only downside, if I may say so, is that the building could use some renovation work.

08/02/2026: Always happy to return, despite the years, the Giardino di Monsignore restaurant and beach club remain a guarantee of taste, elegance, and excellent value. A little more attention to customer service from the dining room staff would be welcome.
13/01/2026: LOCATION: The Lido Giardino di Monsignore Pizzeria and Restaurant is located in Contrada Torre del Porto in Mattinata. A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: This restaurant is well-known among tourists and locals alike. When you arrive, you can enjoy an incredible view of the sea. Especially at sunset, when the sun disappears behind the rocks, the sea is tinged with various colors. On the several occasions I've been, I've enjoyed both the fish-based first and second courses, as well as the pizzas. Each dish reflects the tradition of the Gargano. The restaurant has ample parking, a significant detail in an area that's very busy during the summer months. The photographs I took are testimonies that tell a story, more than a thousand words. FUN FACT: DID YOU KNOW THAT...? The Port Tower was one of the ancient coastal towers built in the 16th century to guard against Ottoman pirate raids.
